Special Workshop 2022.02.15 : Fujifilm showcase & photography theory
Fujifilm is touring New Zealand to showcase some of their photographic gear and do a photography theory workshop and Hawke’s Bay is the first stop on the tour.
A Fujifilm Brand Ambassador will also be in attendance as a guest speaker alongside, Samuel Bingham, Electronic Imaging Sales & Training Specialist for Fujifilm.
Agenda
Photographic equipment and theory:
- Introduction to Fujifilm and X Series
- Mirrorless vs. DSLR
- Exposure triangle and the use of an EVF
- Sensor size and characteristics
- Depth, rule of thirds and other relevant photography principles to improve your photography
- Fujifilm X-S10 and how it fits into the market
- Q&A
- Brand Ambassador – guest speaker
NOTE: this workshop will be extremely informative even if you’re not a Fujifilm camera owner. The session will not only give you an opportunity to have a hands-on look at the Fujifilm range of photographic equipment but also how to use any camera effectively regardless of brand. The theory part of this will also be a great refresher for some members and particularly useful those new to photography.
Photowalk (if we have time)
- This will be a short photo walk with the brand ambassador. Details to be confirmed.
