2.45pm – 4.15pm Architectural Photography with Nick Servian | http://nickservian.com/
Nick has been a professional photographer since a mac was a raincoat and a photoshop was a place to buy film. He’s worked with top-end advertising agencies and designers for literally hundreds of ads and company reports. His assignments have taken him to over 30 countries. From Adelaide to Zurich, Tokyo to Timaru, Washington to Wagga Wagga, he’s been there, and his work has been exhibited and published everywhere. Nick spent the first 12 years of his professional career with a black cloth over his head, photographing the cathedrals and stately homes of England, (as well as the countryside, towns and villages.) In this session, Nick will discuss the techniques for shooting buildings, especially lighting and timing. But mainly it’s about correcting the verticals – in-camera and on the computer.
