SUMMARY:Workshop 2021.08.10: One light studio portraits & digital submissions
DESCRIPTION:This evenings workshop is in two parts:\nOne light studio portraits with Andrew Caldwell\nAndrew will give a brief outline of a simple off-camera studio lighting set up. This will then be followed by a live shoot involving the new committee members having their portraits taken for use on the HBPS website. They can bring along a photography related prop as part of their shoot. The aim of this shoot is to create an engaging yet profession portrait of each committee member and more importantly have fun doing so.\nMonthly digital submissions with Anil Dumasia\nThere have been a number of issues regarding the digital submissions each month. This session of the workshop will be cover the following to help you process your images and submit correctly:\n\nHow the process of entering monthly assessments works\nWhere to find the entry rules and specifications\nDemonstration on how to save your images correctly using Photoshop and Lightroom\nFile naming\nFile sizing\nChecking your entries before submitting\nSubmitting your entries via email\nMeeting deadlines and consequences of incorrectly formatted entries\n\n\n
