DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT NOTE:\nAs this is the first meeting of the year there will be no judging. Instead we will run a photo walk  See details below:\nAT:\nThe Jandal Bar, Ahuriri\n30 Nelson Quay, Ahuriri, Napier 4110\nThe initial meeting will be a meet and greet – catch up over a drink or two and then a photo walk around the harbour.\nPhoto walk for 1-1.5hrs\nThis will be an untutored photo walk so bring your camera gear and tripod. The weather forecast is 29 degrees, fine with light winds and sea breezes. Once you have completed your walkabout then come back to the bar for more socialising and chat. If you have any questions or thoughts you would like to address on the  night please make them known to me or one of the committee members and we will do out best to answer them.\nTip: when out on the shoot please keep in mind the set subjects for the year – you never know you just might find or create that perfect image: here are the set subjects:\n\nBlue\nForms in nature\nHands\nIndustrial\nNegative Space\nPairs\nPeople at work\nSilhouettes\nTwo tone\n\n \nVisitors\nWe have had a number of requests from non-members to visit the club. They may be in attendance so please make them feel welcome and take them under your wing and invite them to walk with you on the shoot if they are on their own.\n \nMonthly competition submission\nHand in on Tuesday 26 January : Abstract\nPlease ensure they comply with specifications – see link https://hbps.co.nz/competition-rules/ ( https://hbps.co.nz/competition-rules/ )\nHand in your entries via email (by midnight) or supply a USB stick with images at the meeting. David Skinner will collect the USB sticks. He will download all the images while everyone is on the photo walk.
